Heard about the team from a friend/colleague. From my first try out, there was no turning back. From trainings to races and socials, there is always something to do with the team. Friends are the family you choose and you will find plenty in this team !
When i join American Dragons, I was really happy to meet such a great team, composed by genuine people who want to have a good work out and are really social ! This is one of the best experience you can have to meet new people in Singapore !
The team is like a big Familly ! Joining this team was such a great experience and i recommend to everyone to try at least one ! you will not regret it !
I heard about the team trough the website and when i contacted them, they were really responsive and made me try Dragon Boat the next week end and since this time i didn't stop !

Fitness is an important aspect to Dragon Boat, Outrigger Canoe and is highly encouraged. Land Trainings are held weekly at different locations to fit your schedule in a boot camp style – so get ready to sweat!

Safety is extremely important to the American Dragons Singapore and we strive to meet all associate regulations. All practice sessions are conducted by an experienced coach and new members are given a safety briefing before going out on the water. A little rain is okay, but our coaches will communicate if practice is cancelled due to adverse weather ahead of practice.
One of the most frequent questions we are asked! So, what should you wear/ bring to Dragon Boat and OC practice?
clothes you don’t mind getting wet
flip flop or water shoes
1L of water sunscreen
hat or sunglasses
For Land Training:
a large towel or yoga mat
1L of water (there is a fountain to refill bottles)
All nationalities are welcome! At present, we have over twenty nations represented on our team, including Singaporeans. There is no commitment for your first try with us, but there is a guest fee of S$10 for Dragon Boat or S$20 for Outrigger Canoe which covers equipment and coaching.
